All
requests for a building permit form must be applied for at the Carolina
Shores Hall.
The primary contractor must sign application and put his/her NC
License number on the application and include all sub-contractors
names, license numbers, and addresses. All contractors must have
a business license to work in the Town at the time of application.
All
State and Local Codes must be followed and all forms must be filled
out completely.
The
application must have a survey and plot plan. The Town requires
3 complete sets of plans.

Carports
- Outside
building for storage
- Gazebos
- Porches
- Deck covers
- Re-roofing
- Swimming
pools
- Decks
- Slabs, patios
- Parking
lots
- Driveways
- Retaining
walls - bulkheads
- Relocation
or remodeling of structures
- Gas lines
- Heating,
Ventilation and Air Conditioning
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Fencing
- Miscellaneous
items (check with office)
- $500.00
Bond required on all new construction for roads
No Certificate
of Occupancy will be given until final approval of Building Inspector.
If an inspection
fails, a re-inspection fee of $50.00 will be charged for another
inspection.
